Which Solution Is Right For You?
There are fairly simple changes which can be easily implemented to make your bathroom safer and they can have a huge difference and make your life a lot easier, however you may need to make more dramatic changes to your bathroom for it to be truly safe.
We offer a range of solutions to suit a whole host of requirements and budgets, from simple bathing aids like shower seats through to complete wet room installations, how do you know which solution is right for you?

A walk in bath
would mean you wouldn’t have to try and step over the side of the bath anymore, a small door which can be easily opened and closed is fitted into the side of the bath, it’s completely water tight and can also be fitted with a seat so you don’t have to lower yourself in and out the bath making bathing a lot easier for anyone with motability problems. |

Showers
are a lot quicker and often more convenient than a bath but they can be equally perilous to anyone with motability issues. Showers can be easily adapted though; a lower shower tray can help eliminate tripping hazards and can be lined with a non slip surface giving you a better grip. Showers can also be fitted with a seat if you’re a little unsteady on your feet, which are secured to the floor. If you need assistance with washing, a mid level screen door can be fitted to give you as much privacy as possible. |

A wet room
would transform your entire bathroom. A wet room would mean your floor would be fitted with a drain allowing the water to drain away and tiling would make your whole bathroom water proof. A wet room is normally all on the same level making it wheel chair accessible. Wet rooms are often easier to clean and maintain than a regular bathroom and can give anyone with motability problems more safety and freedom when it comes to bathing. |

Grab rails
can be fitted around any of these solutions and make bathing generally easier and safer, giving you extra support when you need it. They are aesthetically subtle and can be fitted to most walls easily or, alternatively floor to ceiling poles can be installed if stud walls aren’t strong enough to support the grab rails. |
